Cheryl Cherne

Cheryl is the Executive Personal Assistant with The Foundry Group at Compass, and a true globetrotter at heart. 

Originally from Upstate New York and a graduate of NYU's Gallatin School, she's called places like New York City, Paris, and Charleston,SC home over the years, with travels spanning much of the globe. In 2018, a road trip brought her through Southern Pines, and its sense of community — plus a sweet spot location equally between the ocean and the mountains — convinced her to set down roots and call the Sandhills home.

Cheryl brings over 20 years of experience as a Personal and Household Assistant and Estate Manager for high-asset households, including a family managing properties across New Jersey, New York City, and Paris, where she eventually helped establish the family's company base and transitioned into client-facing work. 

She has also managed households in Nantucket, Charleston, and Palm Beach. That background means Cheryl knows how to keep the details to herself, but she's generous with her unique skill set, multicultural experience, and joie de vivre. Her goal is simple: make every day an experience somehow better than expected, and surprise people in a way that makes them smile from the inside out.

Discretion is her practice, so few people know that Cheryl is a published author — and if you ever get her voicemail instead of catching her live, you will discover she's fluent in French, too.
