Lex Fowler
Lex Fowler is an agent with The Foundry Group, proudly serving buyers and sellers throughout Moore County.
Michigan was home first, but Lex came to the Carolinas for college and never wanted to leave. A few years ago, she and her husband, Max, an Army physician, put down roots in Southern Pines with their two young boys, Clark and Charlie. Somewhere along the way, Moore County stopped felt less like a stopping point and more like the destination.
Maybe that’s because Lex knows firsthand what it’s like to start over somewhere new. As a military family, moving is part of life. You learn quickly that finding a house is only one piece of the puzzle. The bigger question is: Can I see myself building a life here?
For Lex, Southern Pines was an easy yes. She fell for the walkable downtown, the energy of a community that gets involved, and the way people seem genuinely open to making room for new neighbors. With young kids herself, she especially appreciates the support for young families and the endless opportunities to get outside and meet new people.
That perspective shapes the way Lex approaches real estate. Before becoming an agent, she spent eight years in public health, including time with the Department of Veterans Affairs. The work taught her to communicate clearly, manage expectations, listen carefully, and stay steady when things get complicated—skills that translate surprisingly well to buying and selling a home.
Clients can expect straight answers, thoughtful guidance, and someone who won't manufacture urgency just to make a deal happen. Lex takes the responsibility of helping someone make a major financial and personal decision seriously. Every client deserves to feel heard, respected, and well cared for, no matter where they’re coming from or what their next chapter looks like.
When she’s not working, you’ll probably find Lex outside with her family and their two golden retrievers who you may know from social media (who you may recognize from their own social media following @montyandmiller!). She and her family love to travel, explore new places, and say yes to a little adventure—which is also a pretty good description of how Lex approaches life in Moore County.
